Biography: Kenji has always been a bit of an outcast. From a young age, he was always a bit of a bitter loner, despite his family’s best efforts to get him to socialise. Instead, he poured his attention into reading books on duel monsters theory until he could defeat almost any opponent. While he has opened up a lot over the years, he’s developed a very arrogant and prideful persona. Now in his second year, Kenji feels like he still has a lot to prove.

Attitude: Bitter and silent social outcast who goes through process of mental decay.
Biography: Young man of eastern european descent whose parents decided to send him abroad to Umimari City because they simply don't know how to deal with his behaviour. Currently lives with his uncle who is more willing to accept it (or rather lack of thereof). Besides that he's your average student.
Deck: Undead of all kinds, with options to use Synchro, Xyz and Fusion. Main goal of this deck is utilization of "Zombie World" and Red-Eyes Zombie Dragon, alongside the big star, Underworld Dragon Dragonecro and its evolution.

Name: Kerath Shadowstar

Attitude: Mischievous but nice on the surface, but quite sarcastic and profane.
Biography: A former member of the infamous Xyz Class 1-3 (though he uses as many Fusions as Xyz), he puts on the apperance of a nice if troublemaking student.  When he drops the facade though, he can get downright mean and enjoys observing the suffering of others.  Since his father died, and he resolved his troubled feelings regarding his family background, he's mellowed out a lot; though he's still kind of a jackass.  However, since a selfless sacrifice to save one of his former classmates, he temporarily fell under the sway of SaaZe the Betrayer.  He got better, after his freedom was won by Mezah, Jack, and Akahito.
He's the son of a recently deceased former Pro Entertainment Duelist, Vincent Shadowstar known as the Windrider.  He's inherited the "Winds Four Quarters" Dragunity deck, though he rarely uses it as it doesn't respond well to him.  
After the winter break, he interned the Winds Four Quarters with his dad's grave, and focused solely on improving his "Dragons with eyes of blood".

Biography: He was raised by a butler named Eric after losing both parents in a jet accident. Having been a child prodigy at chess since the age of 10, Asora decided to turn his attention to duel monsters. Eric often told him that his parents were renowned pro duelists. Using his status as a world acclaimed chess player he was easily accepted into the Blue dorm.
Deck: He utilizes a Blue-Eyes deck that he inherited from his parents.

Name: Jun Nagano

Attitude: Full of pride, and a tad bit fanatical. Tends to take things too far and will not show remorse or care, thinking he's right, regardless of the situation.
Biography: Born from decently off parents, he quickly grew bored of his "humble beginnings" to which he took to the streets. They sent him to duel school hoping to curb his "rebellious streak" only for him to get into more trouble, which lead to him going from Blue to Yellow over the course of his tenure there.
Deck: Dark Worlds/Xyz. Grapha is the ace, because duh.

Name: Schneider

Attitude: Laidback and relatively easygoing, although he doesn't like Blue students and has a pretty vicious snarky streak when he wants to. Gets frustrated that he can't move around so much anymore.
Biography: A student on exchange from the apparently-never-existed Arcadia academy in Europe. As one of the White jackets, he's more about keeping an eye on the scene than actually dueling. Used to be pretty athletic, but some damage to his left side keeps him from exercising that. Owns a swag motorbike that doesn't see much use.
Deck: Bad Triamid/Core Chimail rock stun hybrid w/Fossil Fusion. When he's serious, he plays a True King deck.

Name: Monochrome, the Corruptor

Dorm: White
Attitude: Cold and calculating, but not above sneering and smirking when she has the upper hand. Likes candy.
Biography: One of Uminari Academy's White jackets. Well, hers is more of a hood than a jacket. Actually one of the lesser Ba'al who serves Loptr via XaaCi. Known as the Corruptor, she excels at turning their enemies against one another. Was slain by Vii after a onesided duel.
Deck: Pure PSY-Frame. Played Metalphos against Vii, which was a bad idea.

Name: XaaCi, the Harbinger

Attitude: Inhuman
Biography: The first of the Ba'al to appear. As her name implies, she serves as Loptr's Herald.
Deck: Played vanilla Pendulums with a Dracoslayer core against Tabooru, but didn't seem satisfied with it. She seems to have settled on a Supreme King Magician deck.

Attitude: Easygoing and fun-loving. Doesn't care much for written rules, but cares a lot about moral rules.
Biography: A teacher's aide who's been detached to Uminari, but is more likely to be found fishing from the rocks. Fond of dispensing advice to students, and likes dueling just for fun. Has heterochromia, resulting in one green and one red eye, or 'boat lights' heterochromia. Has never heard of Yuki Judai, although he sounds handsome.
Deck: Plays an eclectic HERO deck focused on Neos and the Neo-Spacians, using his extra deck as a toolbox.

Attitude: Though not a student, she looks about the age of the other students, and has been found hanging out around the RD area. She seems to know something about RD's activities and the Ba'al, but is generally unwilling to share information. Something about her is distinctly off, though, and she gives a fairly inhuman feeling - it is unclear whether the single horn and mask-like object over half her face is really false.

Biography: Born faraway, Anzod has been constantly moving from city to city. because of is fathers job as a Security officer and just accepted a new job in Uminari city. Whilst Anzod is scared and nervous of his new surrounding's ,his father has reassured him that nothing bad will happen to him here and has already enrolled him in the city's, Academia. What awaits in this boy's future is a mystery even to himself

Attitude: Sadist and Masochist, often keeps quiet to himself. Rather nice and tame but when provoked is a monster.
Biography: Lived in a very loving and moderately rich home, he would always duel the kids in the neighborhood, it was fun at first until it was noticed how the pain from losing a duel and losing life points made him happy. How inflicting damage would also make him happy it began scaring the kids, not just inside a duel but outside of duels also. At one point it seemed as if he was forcing them to duel making him look like a bully. He truly never meant any harm, it was just the way he was, he joined the Academy in hopes of proving even though he is a Sadistic Masochist he can still be good in the eyes of others.
Deck: He uses exactly 2 different decks but prefers to use his Neo-Spacian Contact Deck. His second deck is made more around the original Elemental HERO's. His ace cards are Elemental HERO Neos and Elemental HERO Shining Flare Wingman.

Attitude: She seems rather silly, but since she doesn't say anything, it's hard to get a good grasp on her. At the least, she definitely enjoys teasing people, and gets pretty into summoning, even though she can't do summon chants.
Biography: Though not particularly well known, she's a Blue student in her third year with fairly good grades. Her history is a bit foggy, since it's not like holding a conversation with her is very easy to do. However, she's a teacher's aide currently, and frequently helps with exams.
Deck: Shabe runs a variety of decks, usually on the behalf of her teacher. Her personal deck is fairly unknown.

Name: Professor Jasmine

Attitude: A calm and reserved woman, she seems to have a lot going on, but doesn't express much of it. She's fairly kind towards students when she interacts with them, but doesn't personally talk to them outside of the occasional exam; notably, she doesn't even call on them in class, keeping her interactions at the school to a minimum.
Biography: A professor who teaches general dueling strategy who was hired this year. She primarily teaches first-year students.
Deck: SPYRAL. She also uses this deck for examinations, despite it being her personal deck; it seems like she pushed to have it allowed, and Lord yielded.

Attitude: Often wearing a gentle smile, Noah stays calm and collected in most situations. Loving Uminari Academy and caring deeply for its students, he is always ready to help a student or teacher in need.

Biography: Like many other children Noah dreamed of becoming a pro duelist thus he entered Uminari Academy. However, in his three years at the academia, he got so attached to it that he decided to stay. Now donning a white jacket, Noah aspires to become a teacher at the academy he loves so much.

Deck: Noah plays a True Draco deck. Focusing mostly on tribute summoning during either player's turn to disrupt his opponent's strategy, he doesn't use an extra deck. His ace monster is Master Peace, the True Dracoslaying King.

Name: Maya (aka Celeste)

Attitude: Acts quite devout in her daily life, and is happy to share the good word of the Lord to all who care to listen. After a bit of sacramental wine though...
Biography: Grew up in a very devout household, and lives the part.  She believes that the so called God cards in Duel Monsters are mere aspects of the one true god, and is quite happy to utilize their power as a way to maintain the line between her faith and hobby. She began to doubt her faith after nearly being killed by Azure, and a new High Ba'al - Ec Tisia the Sovereign offered her a true God to follow.  She has since become essentially Ec Tisia's priestess after being imbued the spirit of a Ba'al - Caritas, the Spirit of Benevolence; granting her the power to heal others by absorbing their damage at approximately 1/4 the damage they had received.
After the break, she's given up all of the God decks she left home with, and had started to build a deck using the "Counter" Angels. However, after the events of Ride when Loptr's seal was broken, she gave up her own life to help Ec Tisia re-seal the Devourer; and now rests at her Sovereign's side as the new Spirit of Benevolence.

Biography: Growing up, Jack always found history fascinating, even to the point of incorporating those themes into his deck. Coming from where he's been, he's a bit of a rough rider. He's been known to cause a bit of trouble but has calmed down now that he's been "watched" a little more closely, even after his fall guy took the fall.

Attitude: Timid and shy, But when dueling he becomes excited and more outspoken. Although since joining the Raiders he's become quiet open about who he is and will do almost anything for the people he keeps close. He still tends to close up around people he's never met.
Biography: Jas grew up sheltered when around others he was always labeled "The Shy Quiet Kid." which never really netted him any friends he entered small time kids tournaments before joining the academy but he never made it to any finals due to the fact he doesn't always do well under pressure. He's never been a great duelist but he works hard and tries to improve as much as he can to become a great duelist like his father who first taught him how to respect and use his cards in the first place. He has a fond love for animals always wanted a pet but his family being to poor to own one so he looks to his cards as his furry friends often talking to his cards as he duels. Some of the people he has dueled in his past noted it's kinda funny he uses crystal beasts when his eyes are heterocromia in the colours of a Ruby and a Topaz Crystal.

Attitude: "Rude", "arrogant", "mean" and "greedy" sum up the most part of Mary's personality. However, she always keeps her word and does whatever it takes to help out those she considers as friends when they are in need.

Biography: Ryuzaki Masami grew up in a place that would later become known as Uminari City. Having always been a bit of a tomboy, Masami and her friends got into all kinds of trouble ever since they were young. When KC-I2 came to the city and Duel Monsters got even more popular than before, Masami and her group created a little gang to collect rare cards from local kids. Because she was always busy with Duel Monsters one way or another, her parents enrolled her into Duel Academy, hoping to get her off the streets and into a good school. Although she skipped classes and hung out with her friends most of the time, she seems to have changed her ways after her duel with Isao Mikoto.

Deck: Even though she has used Archfiends while on the streets, when at school or with friends, Mary uses a T.G. deck. She has no monster she could call her ace, for now.
