Conceit The holidays weren't. Due to the interference of Lucille's Flowers of the future and the Binary Ba'al Sol=Firle, the world nearly came to an end. When Loptr was unsealed, the only recourse was for the Sovereign Ec Tisia to descend personally, Denying the Devourer from this world and leaving nothing in its wake. The death toll was fortunate to number 'only' in the tens of thousands - including Maya, who sacrificed herself to become part of the Sovereign's finishing strike. Only Suenami Midori's political pull managed to prevent Uminari City from having a nuke dropped on it to deal with the sudden appearance of giant monsters, and all of a sudden the Ba'al who had migrated to Earth are no longer a secret.
At Lord's Duel Academia, there's another problem: the body of Azure's Talon, strewn across the area during ViiBaaCi's fight, have begun turning up, possessing those holding them and turning them into 'duel zombies'. All of this... and now it's time for second semester.
Setting As previous, but Ba'al are now a known quantity (and Lesser Ba'al are valid character choices). Pendulum cards are now in, as is Link format.

Post characters as replies to this thread, following the skeleton, then alert me or Jem in seasiderumbleooc. Once you're approved, you'll be able to post in the IC channel. If you don't follow the skeleton you're not going to get approved regardless of how good your profile is. Also if you put autoplaying music in your profile I'll probably ban you from the Discord because that shit is the worst.
RP format is third person, past or present tense. Do not use 'would', as in "Judai would throw down a face down"; that's future tense and it's fucking awful, and I will actively bully the shit out of anyone I catch doing it.
Because this sort of takes place after GX I'm taking the massive step (for me) of letting people pick up characters from GX if they want to, but you're going to have to submit a really fucking good profile and convince me you're up to it to get approved, so you probably shouldn't do that.
Obviously, don't use character art from YGO or from obvious shit like Vanguard or Naruto or w/e.
I shouldn't have to say this but this is a YGO RP so settle it with card games, not violence.
Similarly, if you want to do lewd/ERP shit, do a fade-to-black and carry it out in private messages or something. Sending the message your characters are going at it hammer and tongs is fine, actually playing it out in the IC is not.
Because there's the big city to run around in, I'm expecting (and hoping) people will take the reins a bit and create setpieces around the city, up to and including player villains, so get your hater shades on.

Biography: Born from decently off parents, he quickly grew bored of his "humble beginnings" to which he took to the streets. They sent him to duel school hoping to curb his "rebellious streak" only for him to get into more trouble, which lead to him going from Blue to Yellow over the course of his tenure there. Although since joining the Raiders he's become quite open about who he is and will do almost anything for the people he keeps close. He still tends to close up around people he's never met. Biography: Jas grew up sheltered when around others he was always labeled "The Shy Quiet Kid." which never really netted him any friends he entered small time kids tournaments before joining the academy but he never made it to any finals due to the fact he doesn't always do well under pressure. He's never been a great duelist but he works hard and tries to improve as much as he can to become a great duelist like his father who first taught him how to respect and use his cards in the first place. He has a fond love for animals always wanted a pet but his family being to poor to own one so he looks to his cards as his furry friends often talking to his cards as he duels. Some of the people he has dueled in his past noted it's kinda funny he uses crystal beasts when his eyes are heterocromia in the colours of a Ruby and a Topaz Crystal. - - - -
Time has passed since he joined Unimari Academy and subsequently the Raiders. He had been put in many positions that he never thought would happen to him. After witnessing the aftermath of Loptr being unsealed and one of his best friends dying to save the world his outlook on his purpose has become a little warped if not more focused on dropping the chains that bound him in fear to pick up his sword and finally start fighting back rather than cowering in the corner.
As more and more crap piled on top of him with the loss of more friends to Tall, Dark and Toothy. Jas slowly reached his breaking point and finally called upon Ec Tisia, The Sovereign The Greater Good High Ba'al for guidance who ultimately decided to Infuse his soul with the Spirit of Industria giving him the powers of that Spirit which he never fully realized as he had his entire soul ripped out due to NoNoN the Lesser Ba'al attacking him when he was midway using his power to build a new deck with a half Odd-Eyes half Galaxy-Eyes deck he couldn't exactly duel to any merit when Amber stepped in and dueled for him. She lost the duel Now Jas resides at the Sovereign's side along side Celeste. His Physical body still alive just Soulless.
Name: Serah Larimer Age: 16 Sex: Female Dorm: Yellow Attitude: Serah has the personality and temper of a fire cracker, She's Quick to Rile up and isn't afraid of mouthing back at whom ever she feels deserves it. Seemingly randomly as his mind switches personalities his attitude becomes different. Biography: Born into the Cult Of Loptr, Loptr was all he ever knew as his God of course over his time on his dying planet he came to learn of all of the deities but as of his birth He worshiped Loptr, The Devourer. As he struggled to survive and make himself useful to his god he wanted to become a warrior but every chance he failed to show enough power and over time he became more furious at himself feeling useless to help his god as he wished. Then one day the seal was shattered and he was able to see his god in her truest form for the first time he was awestruck and yet a small part of him wanted to turn and run then he saw the humans and Ec Tisia who stood up to Loptr who stood to Re-Seal Loptr, Upon Seeing the Loptr being sealed and seeing the humans who sealed her away once more once again he felt despair, Rage and many multitudes of emotions which he failed to process causing his mind to shatter and separate into seven separate personalities all fighting to over come each other, But one thing still holds true he's still a follower to Loptr with a hatred of the people who sealed his god away once more swearing to once again Unseal Loptr. At least... That's what 6 of his seven personalities want.
As time passed as he spent with the Raiders he tried to find a way to stop the infighting in his own mind and eventually with the help of some of the raiders he came to realize he really was doing the wrong thing by his old life and ways working for the Devourer. Now while still somewhat fragmented his personalities have mostly merged together and he's dropped the restraints he felt to put in place as he didn't see himself worthy to be strong or be a warrior but with the Help of Kerath, and Azure the Cursed Avenger that's changed becoming a Servant of the Avenger he's sworn to be her Sword and Shield at the request of someone he lost trying to save. Now he stands against the Devourer and her minions and on the side of The Avenger and the Raiders.

Name: Rinku Zaizen Age: 15 Year: 1 Sex: Male? Dorm: Red Attitude: Rinku is an Optimist through and through and always loves trying to cheer people up and keeping others smile. His bubbly personality and Lack of Negativity coupled with his tenor pitched voice can be seen as annoying as hell to some people and he has issues reading into serious situations often going to look at a bright side rather than the negative. Prone to emotional outbursts however coupled with his looks might make someone believe he's a girl with how he acts and carries himself, but for fun he won't spoil a secret as he enjoys being the center of attention. He can often be seen carrying around a stuffed tiger if its not in his hands or on his head like a hat it's attached to his belt near his deck box. It looks just like a Fluffal Leo.
Biography: Rinku grew up in a semi-wealthy home in Japan his father was a Top-Tier professor of Music in Japan and as such wanted his son to fall in tow with his ideals and wouldn't settle for anything less. Rinku however found a love for stuffed animals very young as most kids do which oddly enough led to a love for dueling as well, He tried to follow in his father's footsteps but his ear for music and singing wasn't great and the fact that he was tone deaf didn't help either. So instead he fell into dueling completely and much to the annoyance and anger of his father Rinku strayed away from music almost entirely to the point his father almost banned him from dueling completely. This disheartened Rinku but he decided to make the best of it by incorporating silly beats and sounds he meshed together into his dueling to bring some new flair to his dueling as he enjoyed making people smile, And it worked his father for once praised him for simply being creative rather than stale and boring and providing the small crowd's he attracted in the streets and giving them a show like only an entertainer could. After some time of watching his son enjoy himself he decided as a present to send him to Uminari Academy to hone his skills as a Dueltainer and bring his own flair to the dueling world.

Name: Azure Talon Age: 17...or 16. It's complicated. Sex: Female Dorm: Blue Attitude: Typically cheerful and friendly (once she gets to know someone), but able to turn serious and harsh in a heartbeat if she thinks she or her friends are in danger. In duels, her style has been frequently described as "fierce" and "ruthless". Biography: Azure has been through a lot in the time since school began. She was possessed by a power of the darkest of the High Ba'al, helped spawn the Pseudo High Ba'al Azure Gorgon, Defeated the former champion and strongest human duelist Midori, was pulled out of fighting by her girlfriend Nao, got back into the fight with the Ba'al after the arena disaster, was fused with Talon once again (while still a High Ba'al), had to fight to keep her girlfriend (and ended up in a polyamourous relationship with the new Prince, Chyva while she was at it), and finally completed Talon; this however resulted in her entire body becoming the High Ba'al, and she no longer had a place in it. With the help of the Suenami Family, she was placed into Celeste's soulless body; though her face was reconstructed to look like herself, otherwise she is physically the former church girl, scarred by Azure's own power. Even still; through all of the hardships she's faced, the friends she's lost, she's still not willing to give up, and still wants to save her world from the darkness, even as powerless as she truly is...

Biography Pre Seperation:
During the winter break, she returned home for a bit and returned the Galaxy-Eyes deck to her father, no longer feeling a need to have it. Formerly known to be dating Nao, the "Prince" of Duel Academy... before her Prince left her silently in the night, choosing instead to become a Princess herself. After the events of Ride, she's found her balance and rediscovered her courage, and is ready to rejoin the fight that Nao had been holding her out of; for she has a reason to fight and a reason to survive, now. Even after having to face a startling change in her relationship, she managed to keep her newfound balance; even going so far as to offer to "share" Nao with Chyva, after it became quite obvious that Nao truly was in love with them both. While hunting down the pieces of her old Talon that had been zombifying duelists, she got a large portion of Talon's "soulstuff" infused into her body. The result is the return of Talon to her conciousness, however now as a Pseudo High Ba'al that communicates by turning part of Azure's now raven-black hair into snakes. Azure herself has taken on traits of the High Ba'al, able to cause damage at will with her dueling, being able to shut down cellular signal in an area around her at will, and exuding a Divine Aura similar to Loptr's own that causes good aligned Lesser Ba'al to view her in pure fight or flight mode, and chaos aligned Lesser Ba'al to try to swear fealty to her out of fear.

Name: Kerath Shadowstar Age: 18 Sex: Male Dorm: Blue Attitude: Mischievous but nice on the surface, but quite sarcastic and profane. Biography: A current member of the so-called Bully Squad of class Xyz 1-3 (though he uses a large amount of Fusions and some links as well), he puts on the apperance of a nice if troublemaking student. This used to be a facade, but after the events of Ride; it's not inaccurate. He had been put on a better path after working through the family drama with his father's death, thanks to Celeste; though they had a mutually amicable breakup partway through the events of ride. This didn't dampen the pain he felt when Celeste sacrificed her life to enable Ec Tisia to channel the power to Deny the Devourer. If anything, this has firmly cemented his alignment shift from a solid Chaotic Neutral to Chaotic Good. Deck: Red-Eyes
Griffin:
Name: Griffin Talon Age: 19 Sex: Male Dorm: None - he doesn't attend Duel Academy Attitude: Griffin is the sort not to do something unless he truly believes he can excel at it. If he finds he has no talent for something, he'll probably just drop it and move on to something else. He also can be honest to a fault, and much prefers straightforward solutions to problem. Biography: Griffin's certainly a lot more serious then his sister can be, especially after the catastrophic events of the Vanguard tournament that took place in Seaside Ride. That said, Griffin used a Synchro-based ABC deck for quite some time, but gave it up eventually as he didn't really enjoy the game much, especially after the Duel Monsters related drama Azure went through. He's recently picked up his old favorite deck from early in the game, after finding a few cards that would support it. Deck: Self Banishing Deck, focused on Gren Maju Da Eiza

Name: Kendar Rdan Age: 19 Sex: Male Dorm: None - he doesn't attend Duel Academy Attitude: Kendar is well aware that he a “pretty boy” and is quite classically attractive. He’s the sort that doesn’t have to chase after girls, he more has to hold them off. He’s also more than a bit of an arrogant, misogynistic pig, and really hates losing duels to girls. Biography: Kendar is the son and heir of Rdan Inc., a small R&D business that is working on numerous projects; they've only recently began work on Duel Monsters related tech, mostly due to Kendar's interest in the game. However, he’s more well known as a playboy then a businessman, and proud of his assorted conquests back in his small home town and since arriving at Uminari. He’s in Uminari at the moment to pitch a Duel Disk related invention his parent's company has produced, using a somewhat rare mineral found in abundance in their small little town. Deck: When goofing off, like he usually does, he uses a deck he calls "The Worst Deck Ever: Even Worster Edition." The one time he was shown to get serious in a duel, he was seen using Jack Knights

Name: Cynthia Rimeheart Age: 21 Sex: Female Attitude: Cynthia is very dedicated to her company, and to Kendar. What if anything she knows about what the Rdan Inc group is really doing in its alliance with RD is entirely unknown. Biography: The daughter of one of the board of directors, she was sent as Kendar's secretary to Uminari. She's relentless in performing her duties, and will perform anything required of her with a smile on her face - no matter how morally or ethically questionable it might end up being. As such, she truly is Kendar's ideal secretary. Deck: Skull Servants is what she has been seen using recently, but that can't be all she has... can it?
Iris:
Name: "", aka Iris Age: Unknown, but appears to be about 17 Sex: Female Dorm: Yellow Attitude: Iris is very curious, and eager to learn about everything she can about the methods humans use to teach dueling. Biography: Iris was one of the Lesser Ba'al attending ahih rei-yah, and has volunteered to attend the nearby Human Duel Academy to learn and report back to the Wise One a record of how the place functions, as well as current events. She is partial to flowers, and has taken the name Iris in nod to her favored flower, and usually has a flower motif on some article of clothing or accessory. Speaking of irises, her eyes are notable as they will change color to a degree, depending on her mood and how she's feeling about who she's dealing with. Her normal eyecolor appears to be a teal color when she's relaxed and in a "neutral" mood. Deck: Odd-Eyes
Celeste:
Name: Maya (aka Celeste, aka Caritas the Spirit of Benevolence) Age: Eternal Sex: Female Attitude: Acts quite devout in her daily life, and is happy to share the good word of the Lord to all who care to listen. Biography: Celeste was a devout follower of the Sovereign, Ec Tisia, and bore Caritas the Spirit of Benevolence, one of Ec Tisia's 6 servants. This had granted her the power to Heal others, by absorbing some of their damage; as well as the power to detect the pain-aura of Azure Gorgon, or the emotional distress of SaaZe's victims. However, during the breaking of the world, her spirit (fused fully with Caritas) was absorbed by the Sovereign after channeling the power and prayers of Azure and the Lesser Ba'al, helping her Lord get the power needed to Deny Loptr once again. She now rests at her Sovereign's side as the new Spirit of Benevolence.
Ah-AlSira, aka Spira:
Name: Ah-AlSira (Known as "Spira") Age: Appears to be in the 16-17 range, but hard to tell. Sex: Female Dorm: Yellow Attitude: Has an almost childlike fascination with electronics, as they're vastly different from what she knows. She gets frustrated at touch screens though, since she's never seen without her long, custom gloves, so carries an assortment of lovely styluses to operate them. She also is often reading literature of all sorts. Biography: Grew up in a world without hope. "Spira" knew from a young age that her entire world was doomed, with little hope for success. Then the path was opened to Earth, and she began to feel this to her alien sensation that maybe her life had meaning; that she didn't exist just to die. When word came through Midori that they were needed to fight back the Devourer, she almost lost that hope once more, but watching the sacrifice of Caritas... in the body of a minor being like a human, no less... made her resolve to never again give into despair, and to do her part to grasp her hope and use it to resist the Devourer's Cult and all those who would harm the brave humans. She took the name "Spira" as a reference to a synonym for Hope; Aspiration, as well as a reminder of the spiral of despair she has emerged from. After losing a duel with a flower, she was infected by SaaZe. Before SaaZe chose to control her, though, she was Devoured by Loptr for losing a duel against Sin with both of their lives on the line. Name: Suenami Aoi Age: 18 Sex: F Dorm: Blue Attitude: Remains largely impenetrable, although she's starting to open up. Biography: Suenami Midori's adopted daughter. Has an intimate relationship with Lord. Like Midori, Aoi possesses a certain amount of 'power', but not enough to make her a monster like Midori. She has an odd friendship with the silent Shabe, and her current focus is on saving the mute girl. Deck: Aoi plays a Necloth Ritual deck. For a period, she used Zefra cards, but when Vii ceased to be a part of her, those cards went with her.
Lesser Ba'al, SeKaCo:
Name: SeKaCo ('Seika') Age: Definitely looks older than student age... Lesser Ba'al. Sex: F Dorm: Red Attitude: Tries to be haughty and arrogant, and they do have a mean streak in terms of snarky commentary, but Seika is generally a pretty good person once you get down to it. Biography: One of the Lesser Ba'al who migrated to Earth, and was present at Maya's sacrifice to allow Ec Tisia to seal Loptr. Seika vowed that she would also become strong enough to help her new world, and enrolled herself into the Duel Academia, modelling her human behavior on the strongest human she could find information on. Deck: Seika plays (what else) a Blue-Eyes deck... but she's not very good at it yet.
Sweet Soyeur, Ninko Rei:
Name: Ninko Rei Age: 17 Sex: F Dorm: Blue Attitude: Much happier alongside her 'oneesama', Rei is making an effort to just be a better person all around. Used to manipulating people emotionally, that skill also allows her to support people she cares for. Biography: One of Monochrome's victims, but the corrupting influence essentially turned her into a good girl. After a period where she became one of SaaZe's puppets, Rei and Saitei eventually sorted themselves out, and are much happier for it, although they have mixed feelings about both Monochrome and XaaCi. In particular, Rei tries to support Miyaura as much as she can. Deck: Rei plays a Gimmick Puppet deck, using a few high-Rank Xyz monsters here and there to provide extra beating power. Because her deck is a one-card-at-a-time type of affair, the Link rules change doesn't really hurt her too badly.
Scarred Shadow, Sue Onimi:
Name: Sue 'Nimi' Onimi Age: 17 Sex: F Dorm: Blue Attitude: Stoic and with a somewhat stiff and formal manner of speech, Nimi conducts herself in a manner befitting one of Nao's 'knights'. Capable of drifting out of focus as soon as she's no longer necessary, she serves as a bodyguard for her Lord (Nao) and Lady (Azure). Biography: Emotionally scarred, Nimi's unnaturally-strong bond of loyalty to Nao is a result of the Prince rescuing her from an attempt at taking her own life. Since then, she's served as Nao's shadow, guarding her and acting as a partner when necessary. Despite that full-time job, her standardized test results are top-notch, and a glance at her win-loss record at the school shows that it's surprisingly good - and much higher after she was rescued by Nao. Deck: Nimi previously played an -ing element deck, but switched to playing a Six Samurai deck after meeting Nao.
True Prince, Chyvalia von Reinhardt:
Name: Chyvalia "Chyva" von Reinhardt Age: 19 Sex: F Dorm: Blue Attitude: Constantly charming, albeit domineering, as befitting a prince. While Chyva is actively manipulative and always scheming, she also genuinely cares for the people around her, although she can sometimes act without thinking - usually out of worry. Biography: Actual nobility from Germany; her family is a branch from the Bismarcks, and so they carry significant political sway. Chyva is the second child, and a girl, so as long as she isn't causing huge scandals, she isn't really bound by any rules (except her own), so she buried herself in playing the Courtly Game - although she has a hard time getting herself out of that headspace. Deck: Her deck is actually a Felgrand theme deck, but people tend to mistake it for a Dragunity deck. Since she's now supporting Azure, she's been looking into new decks that don't suck as much.
Punished "Venom" Smoke (Suenami Ryuko):
Name: Suenami Ryuko (Smoke) Age: 15 Sex: F Dorm: White Attitude: Quiet and sullen - even moreso now than she used to be, although at the same time, her contact with Ec Tisia has emboldened her. Biography: An adopted daughter alongside her sister, Aoi, although Ryuko takes more after Ginko. The more athletic of the two, her talents lie more towards the practical than the spiritual, which made her an obvious choice of host for Vii... and then for the remains of the Gorgon once Vii departed her body. Losing an eye and an arm in the bargain, she's signed up to be Ec Tisia's next paladin, just in time for Loptr's all-out attack. Deck: Ryuko runs a modified version of the "Crystroid" deck she played when she was hosting Vii.
Wandering Magician, Tsukai Maho:
Name: Tsukai Maho Age: 17 Sex: F Dorm: N/A Attitude: A cheerful and outgoing young lady, although she can be a bit overbearing when she wants to get her way. Tends to care more about others than herself nonetheless. Biography: A rather talented street magician, Maho makes her living by busking with her 'magical' skills. She entered RDan's content specifically to get her hands on one of their prototype duel disks, but she's not interested in actually dueling; she uses the hardlight generator to conjure up stagehands and special effects for her shows. She's teamed up with Rai to have a living stagehand as well. Deck: Although she doesn't usually duel, Maho plays a rather eclectic Magician Girl deck, using a lot of cards that can make flashy and unusual moves instead of focusing specifically on winning.
NPCs:

Has never heard of Yuki Judai, but they sound handsome. On the roll as a teacher's aide, although he spends most of his time fishing, slacking off, and giving surprisingly good advice to the students. Plays a very mixed-up Elemental HERO deck, but he has a harder time dueling nowadays thanks to the LINK format.
Tenjouin Asuka:
The functional leader of the White Jackets, and a much more hands-on teacher's aide than most of them. Has some kind of odd friendship with Nao, and also with Schneider. What deck she plays is usually with regards to the lesson she's teaching, although her best-known deck is her Ritual Angel deck.
Schneider:
A laid-back White Jacket with too much time on his hands, thanks to some injuries to his body in the Arcadia Incident that have refused to heal away. He's still fairly athletic, but can't move around as much as he liked to, and spends most of his time helping Rebecca Hawkins when she's on-site, especially with maintaining his old Duel Armor. Plays a bad Triamid/Core Chimail rock stun combo deck for fun, but played a True King deck when he got serious.
Suenami Midori:
Former champion in both Duel Monsters and Vanguard, and owner of unusual powers that make even the Sovereign balk. A close friend of Lord's since they were in school together, where they fought on the same side against what Midori claims was 'actually' a god. The current head of the Suenami Zaibatsu, and definitely not above using that to expedite proceedings. She played a Lovecraft deck against Azure, but it seems like she's changed decks after her loss.
Suenami "Nagi" Ginko:
A former Vanguard champion, her history is closely tied with her wife Midori's. She possesses powers similar to Midori's, but much weaker; they were much stronger once, but Midori's forceful exorcism of the 'god' posessing her caused her to lose most of them. Stubborn, cynical, and downright mean most of the time, but her heart is in the right place. She played a Buster Blader deck against Loptr, and gave her life to let Azure make it back to Academia.
Villains:
XaaCi the Harbinger:
Loptr's Harbinger and the effective leader of her cult. She survived the battle with Ec Tisia, but with Loptr Denied from the world, it is no longer within her power to bring the Devourer into the world. Surprisingly, she's actually a fairly nice person when she's 'off-duty', and has an odd friendship with SaaZe. After a few abortive attempts that appeared to be warmups, she plays a ZARC deck while not giving a fuck about Link rules.
Lucille, Lord of the Flowers:
The pink twin. She inherited XaaCi's memories and powers, but hers seem even more advanced, as her ZARC deck can simply bust through Link Rules, and her special skills let her turbo her boss monster onto the field. Although she's possessed of a cruel streak a mile wide and has no patience for disobedience, she's surprisingly caring about the Flowers under her, and tries to accomodate them if she can.

A being who claims that the world is her game board. Apparently responsible for Loptr's cultists finding a way to Earth, and for the Flowers coming back in time. She also functions as the Oblivion Correction that the Flowers are so scared of, even though she admitted to Marchen before corrupting her that that was a lie. The deck she plays is unknown.

Name: Yamato Nao Age: 17 Sex: Female Dorm: Blue Attitude: Kind and helpful, but inherently a 'follower' who prioritizes others. Biography: Uminari Academy's ex-"prince". Though she was selected as a hero to save the world and given the first Link monsters, when she failed to win the Vanguard tournament and nearly 50k people died for it, she blamed herself for the loss and the loss of her fans, and has withdrawn from active duty without truly saying so to anyone, her confidence broken. Though she regathered it, the appearance of Chyva - and her following loss to her - caused her to have to reassess herself. Nao didn't start a 'prince', but took the image starting her second year at Uminari Academy, after she had gathered friends, fans, and prestige with her boyish style and dueling skills in her first year, using her time with her friend who often dressed her up in middle school as a basis for her more boyish appearance and outfits. Now, she's being somewhat more honest with herself... but she hates how it came about, and feels incredibly ashamed of it, and disappointing Azure like this.

Sex: Female Dorm: Faculty Attitude: As expected of a headmaster, she knows more than she lets on, and handles most situations calmly, but as expected of her size, she's prone to the occasional childish outburst. Biography: The almost miniature headmaster of Uminari Academy, who plays a fairly important role in the dealings of KC-I2... whatever those might be. Unlike many headmasters, she occasionally teaches classes, especially working as a substitute teacher for many of the programs and as the host of the majority of important exams. Her size seems to come from an aftereffect of a supernatural event back when she, Midori, and Ginko were in school together that prevented her from aging. Due to her circumstances, she's found herself dating Aoi, Midori's daughter (and almost her own), resulting in... complicated relationships. Deck: Shinobirds / Red-Eyes. She also runs several ritual-based exam decks for the purposes of, well, exams, all of which have a standardized cardlist.
Kurushimi Saitei:
Name: Kurushimi Saitei Age: 16 Sex: Female Dorm: Blue Attitude: Though Saitei's nowhere near as self-hating as she once was - and maintains a more prim and proper persona now, she has her own little bits of viciousness and nastiness that still remain. Old habits die hard and she is a recovering bully. As a result, she can seem almost bipolar - she swings between gentle and savage moods fairly easily, but it's actually the most true to herself she's ever been. Biography: An ex-bully at Uminari Academy who got a taste of happiness under the thumb of the Ba'al, only to have it pulled out from under her, leaving her with absolutely crippling depression. Once she was reunited with Rei, they worked out more of their feelings and solidified their relationship, Saitei started hating herself distinctly less. Deck: Evilswarm

Biography: The previous host of SaaZe and a current teacher at Uminari Academy, she was the CEO of Reimei Inc., until it was bought out by RD. After this event she took a role as the operator of the corporation for SaaZe's goals, but now that she's free, she's taken her money from the buyout and ran, using her actual degree in teaching to hide out at the Duel Academy in order to be around those who can properly protect her. Name: Shabe Tenai Age: 18 Sex: Female Dorm: Blue Attitude: She seems rather silly, but since she doesn't say anything, it's hard to get a good grasp on her. At the least, she definitely enjoys teasing people, and gets pretty into summoning, even though she can't do summon chants. She's known for her long-winded text messages, but her personality has been blunted through abuse to make her obedient. Biography: Though not particularly well known, she's a Blue student in her third year with fairly good grades. Her history is a bit foggy, since it's not like holding a conversation with her is very easy to do. However, she's a teacher's aide currently, and frequently helps with exams. She made friends with Aoi, only to get kidnapped by Charna and Lucille, and become one of the first Seeds to undergo 'training' to properly submit to Loptr's rule. Deck: Shabe runs a variety of decks, usually on the behalf of her teacher. Her personal deck is fairly unknown.
Professor Jasmine:
Name: Professor Jasmine Age: 28 Sex: Female Dorm: Faculty Attitude: A calm and reserved woman, she seems to have a lot going on, but doesn't express much of it. She's fairly kind towards students when she interacts with them, but doesn't personally talk to them outside of the occasional exam; notably, she doesn't even call on them in class, keeping her interactions at the school to a minimum. Biography: A professor who teaches general dueling strategy who was hired this year. She primarily teaches first-year students. Deck: SPYRAL. She also uses this deck for examinations, despite it being her personal deck; it seems like she pushed to have it allowed, and Lord yielded.

Because she knows she doesn't have the favor of Ec Tisia, however, she will throw herself at the mercy of other Loptr faction gods, begging them not to eat her, and obeying them without question. Biography: Once a 1st year Ra Yellow, Isao is now a 3rd year Obelisk Blue student in Uminari Academy and he specializes in Synchro Summons since his 2nd year. He is actually from Japan, and he went to Uminari City's Duel Academy in order to learn more about the Duel Monsters card game and be a Pro Duelist like his late father, using his father's modified Deck powered up by Synchro Monsters. After losing in the finals of the Vanguard Tournament, he seeks for a way to save his childhood best friend Taiyou.
Deck: Isao uses a Superheavy Samurai deck, which is a pure 40 Monster Card Deck which focuses on Synchro Summons, to compensate the lack of Spell and Traps, he uses many monster effects from hand and graveyard. His ace is "Superheavy Samurai Big Benkei".
Shori Daitai:
Name: Shori Daitai Age: 15 Sex: Male Dorm: Red Attitude: Childish, innocent, naive. Biography: Shori is the only son of a poor family in Uminari City, that family's dream is of getting famous in the professional scene, however both his grandpa and his father failed, so Shori is sent to Uminari Academy in order to fulfill that dream. Not knowing much about the world, Shori is a naive and innocent kid, with many bullies always pranking him, but Shori always overcomes it and keeps aiming for his dream. Deck: Shori uses a beatdown Exodia deck, focused on The Legendary Exodia Incarnate, manipulating Exodia pieces between the hand and the graveyard which can make his Exodia Incarnate a big beatstick or win the duel via Exodia's effect. After losing some duels in a row and his confidence in himself, he started to use an Altergeist Shaddoll deck to try new strategies.
Netto Mondo:
Name: Netto Mondo Age: 17 Sex: Male Dorm: Yellow Attitude: Calculating, overconfident, likes flirting with girls he finds attractive. Biography: Born in Italy, Netto is a yellow student in Uminari Academy, and one of the duelists that joined RD's contest, losing in his first duel against Kerath. He's one of the best students in his class, always getting high grades, which got him overconfident to the point of belittling red dorm students and duelists younger than him. He also has a tendency of underestimating old cards, especially older methods of summoning, as he focuses in the new Link Summon mechanic. Deck: Cyberse

Name: Arma Solberg Age: 18 Sex: Female Dorm: Blue Attitude: Calculating and straightforward. Arma is the type of person that only does something if she gets something back. But she willing to do something against her wishes, if it means it's for her goals or she ask/force to by her parents. Biography: Arma was raised in a very strict household with Her father and mother in Germany. Because of her father work as a politician and her mother work in industrial illusions as an artist, She rarely sees them, and most of the time she does, it's to do something for them or for their work. Her mother saw her gift in duel monsters and her father saw what she could do in the future, so they enroll her in the local Dueling Academy. Two years after going to that school, her father wanted to start fresh in his career and her mother got an offer to move for a promotion, So they pack everything and move to Uminari City. Deck: she likes to use is metaphy because of the artwork co. created by her mother.

Attitude: Most of the time Delaga is calm, calculate, and speak his mind, no matter who or what he talking to. He doesn't look up to most people and few has earned his respect, He's ambitious and drives himself to complete any goal, by any means, that he sets himself. Overall he good nature guy.
Bio: raised in the Angel Feather orphanage in Italy, Delaga had a nice childhood, good friends, loving caretaker, pretty much the life an orphan can wish for, but he always dreams of making it big in the dueling world. Fast forward to the present, He now stays in the red dorm in the XYZ course, a lot of the time getting involved the white dorm students more times than a student should by being link to some controversies and shady rumors, but when the evidence is brought, it never stuck or goes missing for some reason.
After the events of Ride. Delaga lost not only his sister Odd, but his "father" Samuel Donwell's favor. Delaga is left in an angry and sad state, leaving him to deal with his "family" life, his life at the dueling school, and his past dealings coming back to haunt him. But Delaga is more determined than ever to set everything right and to keep the dream of his main goal alive and well.
Deck: Delaga plays a Darklord deck with a mix of dark and light cards. his two ace cards are his Archlord Kristya given to him by his caretaker and Darklord Lucifer given to him by his mentor.

Her words themselves are constantly framed in the form of hunger, appetite, and eating, as it is how she interacts with the world the vast majority of the time. Biography: Loptr is a sealed High Ba'al. Despite this, she currently poses a threat to humankind, since she is receiving sacrifices from Ba'al that have transferred over to this world. The image is not her true form; whether in this world or in her natural state; it is an example of the giveaway that all those possessed by Loptr have - a mouth of too-many sharp teeth, and a tendency to lick their lips a lot. Divinity: Her epithets are "The Ravenous God", "The Sealed Serpent", "the Devourer", "The Destroyer", and "The Beast of the End" - these come from her true form, a colossal serpent with a head at each end, and her 'divine' providence; her dominion over hunger and eating. Deck: Loptr had been shown to favor Dinomists when she was previously playing around, but being what she is, there's no telling exactly what she'll do if she's serious about eating someone or something.
SaaZe, the Propogation:
Name: SaaZe Age: ??? Sex: Female Dorm: N/A Attitude: Confident and sexual Biography: SaaZe, "The Betrayer", one of the only high Ba'al to be purely loyal to Loptr, due to her ability "Propagation" that makes her an inexhaustible but unfulfilling food source for her. During "the Devouring", when Loptr was first unsealed, she betrayed Ec Tisia and sided with her - through this betrayal, several High Ba'al were lost, but eventually Loptr lost the war. Divinity: SaaZe's epithets are "the Propogation", "Legion", "the One Who Is Many", and "the Betrayer". Her true form is a writhing host of worm-like creatures, each capable of possessing humans by squirming into their ears and flattening themselves down against the brain. They are said to resemble something like string cheese that shines in various colors. Deck: ???
Vii, the Huntress:
Name: ViiBaCi MjiiRa ("Vii") Age: ??? Sex: Female Dorm: Imprisoned Outside Time and Space Attitude: Biography: Vii has been revealed as the High Ba'al "the Huntress", daughter of the High Ba'al Loptr, a genocidal maniac who death upon all the other Ba'al along with the rest of their world. Though she is Loptr's daughter, she sides with neither her nor Ec Tisia nowadays, after having her eye stolen by Sol=Firle. Divinity: Vii's epithets are "the Huntress" and "the Divine Beast". She has a lesser version of her mother's Devouring, which does not seem to work upon High Ba'al, as well as specific powers related to stalking that allow her to hunt her prey before she feasts. Her true form is a colossal white, wolf-like beast, with extraordinarily long, waving fur. However, this hides her true shape - beneath that fur is a chaos-like substance that manifests many arms, heads, and the like; she can effectively attack with every part of her body, as any part of her body can become a weapon. Deck: Crawlers? Vii seems to be experimenting with different decks using the human LINK monsters, intending to find one of their 'weapons against the high ba'al' that they made that suitably fits her powers, to turn their own blade upon them in irony.
Sol=Firle:
Name: Sol=Firle Sex: Female Dorm: N/A Attitude: Unsurprisingly from the High Ba'al of Depravity, Sol=Firle is lewd. Her two bodies act with slightly different personalities, one shyer and one more aggressive. Regardless, neither talk a whole lot. They say that the majority of communication is body language, and Sol=Firle speaks it in spades. Biography: Vii's sister, and a daughter of Loptr, twisted by unknown means by SaaZe (and probably XaaCi). Through some means, she tore out Vii's eye and half of her power, taking it for herself, however... Divinity: Sol=Firle's epithets are "the Beastmaster", "the Beast of Desire", and "the Pleasures of the Flesh". As the High Ba'al with dominion over 'taming', she can strip others of all desire, consuming it to power herself. As the High Ba'al with dominion over 'depravity', her power allows her to draw forth the primal desires of lust in all beings that reproduce. (As a result, many High Ba'al who do not have that ability are flatly immune, such as SaaZe.) Deck: ???
Ec Tisia, the Sovereign:
Name: Ec Tisia, the Sovereign Sex: Female Dorm: N/A Attitude: Demanding, Domineering, and Driven. c Tisia will not ask for what you cannot give, but can ask for all you have to give. For the Greater Good. Biography: The ruler of the High and Lesser Ba'al, and the de facto King of Greater Ba'al after the dying planet caused the general social structures of the Lesser Ba'al to collapse. Ec Tisia is the sole High Ba'al who can seal Loptr and her kin, but requires external power to achieve this. Divinity: Ec Tisia's epithet is "the Sovereign". The High Ba'al governing "Authority", its role is to rule over others. In terms of raw power it isn't particularly impressive, but it's ability to Revoke access of others to basic facts makes it utterly terrifying as an opponent. In Ec Tisia's personal realm, it takes the form of a giant attended by lesser Ba'al, as seen in the image above, but this is not it's original form, instead having assumed a form that looked like a massive golden knight when it battled Loptr. Azure Gorgon:
Name: Azure Gorgon, the Pain - aka "Talon" Sex: Female Dorm: Yellow? Attitude: Sadistic, but not because she takes pleasure in it, Azure Gorgon simply doesn't know how to do anything else but spread the suffering she endures. Though she has a huge vengeful streak, more than that, she is just a broken person who constantly hurts mentally and emotionally and has no relief from it. There is little wonder she has snapped. Biography: The one which Azure named her "Talon", Azure Gorgon began life as nothing more than an impulsive personification of Azure Talon's aggressive and primal instincts. When Ec Tisia ripped her from Azure's head, however, Loptr fashioned her a new body much akin to Frankenstein's monster for High Ba'al parts; various pieces of soulstuff left over from what she had eaten, sewn together into a writhing mass and stuffed with a new consciousness, Talon's, and Defined with the title "the Pain". With her first act of defiance against that which has caused her to suffer, she threw away the name "Talon" and decided she would be the *Real* Azure, Azure Gorgon. However, this was not to last. Vii ripped her apart and used her for parts, resulting in her scattered pieces 'zombifying' students as they are possessed by fragmented parts of Talon's consciousness.
Yuusha-Ou:
Name: Yuusha-Ou Sex: ??? Dorm: Male (However, Yuusha-Ou's human form is Female). Attitude: Heroic, but misguided, Yuusha-Ou enacts Justice upon those who it finds most problematic to the world. Biography: A twisted version of the High Ba'al of Heroism, Yuusha-Ou is the result of that patchwork replication being fused to the body of Amano Sora, a red who went looking for a way to save both the Ba'al and humanity, and was abducted by Loptr. Deck: Yuusha-Ou seems to use Elemental Heroes.

Name: "the Priestess" Sex: Female Dorm: N/A Attitude: Terse. She hates talking and doesn't like to try diplomacy, but is hurt by the effects of dueling with a Ba'al disk, as it reflects the pain of damage taken onto her soul, which only serves to make her more pained and irritated if she loses. Biography: A Lesser Ba'al in service to Sol=Firle. She's collecting Talon parts, as her master has become comatose after losing Vii's eye. Has a weird tendency to be found upside-down in the air. It seems that Sol=Firle granted her some gravity-based abilities, though XaaCi is not fond of them. Deck: Gusto Psychics

Neue Talon:
Name: Neue Talon Sex: Female Dorm: N/A Attitude: Violent. A beast. There's not much left in her besides the will to hurt and destroy. Biography: One of Lucille's Flowers, from the future. She's actually older than Lucille, being over ten, as she was one of the earlier Flowers made... and has the rather disturbing parental combination of Azure and Griffin. Were that not enough, she has been infused with pieces of the dead Vii, rendering her an unstable mess only barely controlled by Lucille (or before her, Sol=Firle). In her timeline, she hunted and killed the remaining members of the 'Raiders' as a young child, including (at least) Akahito. Deck: Gladiator Beasts

Attitude: Mezah can usually get allong with anyone at the school but he doesn't have any real friends. Neither loved nor hated, he distances himself from others when they get too close. However, most people would just see a boy who spends most of his days making fun and goofing around when they lay eyes on him.
Bio: When his father died of an incurable disease and his sister got sick a few years after that, Mezah's mother ran away, leaving him and his sister behind. With the experimental surgery costing a lot of money, Mezah made a promise with his sister to become a pro duelist and pay for her surgery. Since coming back from winter break, Mezah has been focused more on his studies than before; seemingly ignoring the supernatural things happening in the city and academy. How long will he be able to ignore the things happening around him though?
Deck: Mezah plays a D/D deck focused on extra deck summoning; utilizing fusion, synchro as well as xyz monsters to overwhelm his opponent.
Noah Taylor:

Attitude: Often wearing a gentle smile, Noah stays calm and collected in most situations. Loving Uminari Academy and caring deeply for its students, he is always ready to help a student or teacher in need.
Biography: Like many other children Noah dreamed of becoming a pro duelist thus he entered Uminari Academy. However, in his three years at the academia, he got so attached to it that he decided to stay. Now donning a white jacket, Noah aspires to become a teacher at the academy he loves so much.
Deck: Noah plays a True Draco deck. Focusing mostly on tribute summoning during either player's turn to disrupt his opponent's strategy, he doesn't use an extra deck. His ace monster is Master Peace, the True Dracoslaying King.
Ryuzaki Masami:

Dorm: Second year Slifer Red
Attitude: "Rude", "arrogant", "mean" and "greedy" sum up the most part of Mary's personality. However, she always keeps her word and does whatever it takes to help out those she considers as friends when they are in need.
Biography: Ryuzaki Masami grew up in a place that would later become known as Uminari City. Having always been a bit of a tomboy, Masami and her friends got into all kinds of trouble ever since they were young. When KC-I2 came to the city and Duel Monsters got even more popular than before, Masami and her group created a little gang to collect rare cards from local kids. Because she was always busy with Duel Monsters one way or another, her parents enrolled her into Duel Academy, hoping to get her off the streets and into a good school. Although she skipped classes and hung out with her friends most of the time, she seems to have changed her ways after her duel with Isao Mikoto.
Deck: Mary uses an Archfiend deck. Her ace is Archfiend Emperor, the First Lord of Horror.
Lesser Ba'al, XaZiqt:
Name: XaZiqt ('Nine')
Age: Has the appearance of a 16 year old girl.
Sex: F
Dorm: Yellow "Hm? I used the wrong color? You must be mistaken. Surely this is yellow."
Attitude: Doesn't have any real motivation except trying to survive as long as she can. Hardly ever shows any sort of emotion in her voice or expressions and handles everything as efficiently possible. She thinks that she knows exactly how to act like a normal girl after observing humans for a while but she often makes stupid mistakes.
Biography: After arriving on earth, many were happy, hopeful and grateful. Nine however didn't feel any of those emotions. Believing that she would die with her planet, she had long shut down her emotions. She is someone who will fight to live but is ready to die at any moment; even after arriving in Uminari, that did not change. Entering the the academia, she is learning so she can survive in this world as long as possible.
"Is it not primal instinct to try and survive as long as possible? It is only logical that I too act on that instinct."
Deck: Nine uses a Cubic deck with Crimson Nova the Dark Cubic Lord as her ace.

Name: Wallace "Wally" Lewis Age: 17 Sex: Male Dorm: Yellow (Second Year) Attitude: Was bit of a hot head at times during the prior year, but his experiences has changed him for the better. Still tends to think head first and is never willing to back down from a challenge, but his heart is in the right place. Biography: Had to leave due to sudden family events during the middle of his first year. He attended a lower tier school during his time away from the Academy but was kept informed of the events through the Raiders Group chat. Now, during his second year, he was allowed to transfer back without anything to hinder him anymore.
Name: Ken Sorin Age: 14 Sex: m Dorm: Yellow Attitude: Likes to think he is smart and always tries his best to be so, even if he is an Idiot Biography: While Ken met the other raiders at the card capital, he is still Oblivious to the Ba'al and what they are, even after he came back from a trip with his parents to find out the Arena had been disappeared and his favourite café that was outside got destroyed. Since he lost his most fun place to go and wanted to attend the academy has asked his Parents to fill in the form so he could see his friends again. Deck: Stall Exodia
Biography: Tabooru is very antisocial in most situations. He keeps his own thoughts to himself and never starts conversations unless he likes the person. He joined the academy thanks to his brother. He also doesn't laugh at most jokes.

As he got older he got a little more serious into accomplishing becoming a pro duelist.

She learned to be strong from her mother and how to duel from her father. Her parents moved to Uminari City to get her a better education and a job as a pro duelist.

Name: Isu Age: 17 Sex: m Dorm: Blue Attitude: Social, and Fun Biography: Isu is Tabooru's brother and you couldn't really tell since they're a lot of differences in their talking skills. He's joining Academia because his old Duel School wasn't challenging and after hearing good reviews from there, he decided to join. After hearing about recent events in Uminari City, the place interested him even more, also he wanted to check on his brother in person. He's a skilled duelist and enjoys showing off, (though he resists doing it most of the time.) Deck: ABCVWXYZ, his ace is A-to-Z Dragon Buster Cannon.

Alright, Updates to existing characters and a new one as a bonus, here we go!
Name: Akahito Takahara Age: 16 Sex: Male Dorm: Red Attitude: Generally laid-back, good natured but has developed a depressive streak and a bit of a temper since he arrived in Uminari Biography: Akahito has not exactly coped well with the events leading up to the return to classes. Since losing to Vii in a duel, his soul has been tied to a fragment of Talon, which has added some extra kick to his monsters, whether he likes it or not. He’s still beating himself up over losing the championship Cardfight during the break, and both allowing Loptr to break her seal, and failing to save his sister. He hasn’t given up on rescuing Namiko, this quest easily being what drives him the hardest. Deck: Dark Magician & Friends, most recently he’s been experimenting with the newly released Pendulum monsters, but ultimately seems to have settled on a slightly more traditional build with his own spin on it.
Name: Namiko Takahara Age: 15 Sex: Female Dorm: N/A Attitude: Playful, energetic and friendly. She’s always looking to have fun. Biography: The younger sister of Akahito Takahara, Namiko took up vanguard after losing one too many times at Duel Monsters to her older brother. Surprisingly, the two of them don’t talk much. She made the trip out to Uminari after hearing there may be a Vanguard tournament coming up, since there isn’t much of a Vanguard scene back home. Unfortunately for her, she was caught up in the plots of Loptr and her cult, causing her to get infected with a SaaZe worm. After the events at the Uminari Stadium, her current whereabouts are unknown. Deck: Unknown, nobody has seen her play Duel Monsters in years.
Name: MuJo'oA Age: 16(?) Sex: Female Dorm: Yellow Attitude: Timid, nervous. MuJo’oA isn’t the picture of bravery, and is more likely to be found with a stack of books in the library, expanding her knowledge, than in any sort of dangerous activity. Biography: MuJo'oA was born into the decaying ruin that was Greater Ba’al. Before she was born, her parents had fully given up hope in Ec Tisia saving them and joined a cult devoted to Loptr. When MuJo'oA was born, she grew up not just with the reality that her world and everything on it was dying, along with constantly being told that stepping out of line meant that Loptr would devour her even sooner. It’s no surprise that MuJo'oA did not thrive in this environment. Despite her natural curiosity about the world around her, she became shy, and timid. She was constantly walking on eggshells to avoid Loptr’s wrath. The opening of the path between worlds was quite possibly the best day of her life, the first time she felt hope in years was the day she made it to Earth. Finally, beyond Loptr’s reach, MuJo'oA began to learn as much about her new home as she could. She often wore glasses to try and hide her lightly glowing eyes and better blend in, and took on the alias ‘Muse’. For a while, she believed herself truly free, until Loptr returned and attacked Uminari Stadium. MuJo'oA quickly fell back into Loptr worship, terrified once more that Loptr could eat her if she didn’t.
Name:MeIRe (Mei) Age: 15 (?) Sex: Female Dorm: Yellow Attitude: Calculating, Cruel, and Agressive. She hates fear, and will act out against whoever shows it Biography: She always felt the fear the other ba'al exhuded when they were all showered in the same divinity their entire lives... She despised them for being weak, being spineless. She had experienced the feeling of divinity from her conception. Therefore she allied with ViiBaCi MjiiRa The Huntress to purge fear from the ba'al through destroying its source. The ones who feared. Deck: Deskbot Beatdown (Ace: Deskbot 009)
Name: Jason Ashley Age: 17 Sex: m Dorm: Red Attitude: While he might look cold and emotional, he is quite a nice guy and likes to help other people. Biography: While he is in his second year at school at still in red dorm, he has made little effort in terms on advancing ahead. He has good grades at school and a nice demeanour. What stops him from advancing to yellow is himself as he purposely stops himself from winning a duel if it seems to benefit the confidence of the freshman students. He cares for others quite a lot and will risk everything to help them if that's what it takes. while some of the other red students might not of seen him much is because he is always studying in the library and does not go to the arena to often to duel, he would rather put his skills in teaching others. Biography:Sachi lived with her two parents and her sister, their parents are rich and often spoiled them, the whole family of four looked down on others, Sachi and her sister were raised like little princesses, they share personalities. Sachi currently lives in the Red Dorm. Deck:Sachi uses a Madolche Deck. She's new to dueling but her Ace card would probably be Madolche Queen Tiaramisu.

Name: Owain Kuzunoryu Age: 16 Sex: Male Dorm: Red Attitude: Owain is a very kind and caring boy who hates seeing others hurt,but having learnt that this is easily exploitable he keeps a serious demeanor on his visage at almost all times. However one could catch him off guard when discussing his favorite topics as his curiosity and excitement shine at the mention of ruins and really any card that peaks his interest. Biography: Owain as a young child traveled across cities and countries with his mother never knowing a word about his father and thus used his mothers last name for his own. Not minding the constant travel Owain got to see many places and meet many people but this would stop being a good thing when he ended up on his own stranded in Germany due to his mother succumbing to illness. Living on the street he sought to learn how to defend himself and keep himself alive, seeking whatever work necessary to make enough to eat off of. Using what he learned Owain managed to slowly pick himself up and begin dueling with whatever cards he could find for cheap or that caught his eyes as he traveled to and from excavation sites and ruins. In his off time from his archaeological work he would help care for children at nearby orphanages as a thanks to their workers who occasionally helped him out while he was on his own. Deck: A Pendulum Synchron deck that incorporates pendulum monsters into its mix usually from the Odd-Eyes section of cards and Symphonic warrior section but this only happens far after the character grows into a better duelist till then it is just Synchrons. Ace monsters are Junk Warrior and Stardust Dragon.
Name:Mayu Himoto Age:18 Sex:Female Dorm:Yellow Attitude:Mayu has an overal gloomy appereance and mannerism, though she strongly believes in people and the good in their hearts, she views herself as completely irredemable and a sinful stain on humanity. She finds discomfort in the suffering of others and will try her best to help them feel better if possible, often by using herself as the scapegoat. Biography:Raised as a son rather than a daughter, Mayu was trained to be strong, to protect others and to hold their burdens for them. But no matter how strong she was, using herself as a magnet for the misfortune of those around her eventually impacted her self esteem and she started to believe all the "lies" she told about herself, truly believing herself to be a good-for-nothing villain and a sin, and chose her deck to represent the persona she embraced. Deck:Infernoids with various Xyz and Synchro monsters, with "Deadly Sin" as her ace to combo with "Chaos Zone" in order to utilize her opposition's monsters, the deck tells a story of redemption that highlights the strenghts of Mayu's opponent while the demonic appereance of her deck paints her as the villain of the story, much like she herself does.
